Interactive electronic cat toy is designed for hide-and-seek action

FAIRPORT HARBOR, Ohio, May 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- The OurPet's Company (OTCQX: OPCO), a leading proprietary pet supply company, is launching an exciting new interactive product in its line of OurPets® cat toys. The OurPets® Catty Whack™ is an electronic toy designed to captivate cats with a feathery game of hide and seek.

"Everyone knows cats love to play with feathers," said Gabriella DeSantis, vice president of marketing, "But the Catty Whack takes the cat and feather experience to a whole new level."

The Catty Whack is designed to be placed on a floor or table. Once switched on, a feather wand begins to dart in and out of each of five "mouse holes" in the toy. The wand mimics the erratic movement of prey in the wild, stimulating cats' hunting instincts and inspiring play and exercise. To further the appeal, Catty Whack features the proprietary electronic RealMouse™ sound, which sounds just like a squeaking mouse in the wild. Cats can also stretch their paws and groom their claws on the carpet pad on top of the toy.

Catty Whack requires 4 "D" batteries. It includes non-skid rubber feet to keep the toy from sliding across the floor. The toy will be available to the pet specialty market in August.
