The Oxford Hotel and Embassy Suites Denver Downtown offering VIP Passport to Paris packages

DENVER, Oct. 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Two of downtown Denver's top hotels – The Oxford Hotel and the Embassy Suites Denver Downtown – Convention Center – are welcoming the Denver Art Museum's blockbuster new Passport to Paris exhibit to town with special offers that include two VIP exhibit tickets that allow guests to bypass any lines.
Now open, Passport to Paris features works from many of the biggest names in the art world, including Edgar Degas, Camille Pissarro and Henri de Toulouse - as well as the rare opportunity to view 11 works by Claude Monet at one time. This exhibition's three shows—Court to Cafe, Nature as Muse, and Drawing Room—focuses on French art from the late 1600s to early 1900s.
Court to Cafe features 50 masterpieces from the collection of Connecticut's Wadsworth Atheneum, including works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Paul Cézanne and Vincent van Gogh. Nature as Muse displays 36 gorgeous landscapes by 19th century impressionist artists, including Berthe Morisot, Camille Pissarro, and Alfred Sisley – the first time these works from the private collection of Frederic C. Hamilton will be on public display. Drawing Room, the third exhibition in Passport to Paris, showcases approximately 39 works-on-paper by celebrated French masters, including Jacques-Louis David and Théodore Géricault.
The Oxford, which boasts its own extensive collection of Western art, is offering a Passport to Paris VIP Experience starting at $195 per night. It includes:
