The Pangborn Group Selects Lori Kent as new VP Operations

FAIRBURN, Ga., Jan. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pangborn Group, a global leader in surface preparation solutions, is pleased to introduce Lori Kent as their new Vice President of Operations, effective 22 January 2018.  As VP Operations, Kent will oversee all Pangborn operational units and initiatives including operational strategy, supplier management, program management, and global manufacturing to ensure the highest level of quality and customer delivery.  She will report directly to Roger Stonecipher, President, The Pangborn Group.

Kent is a 25-year veteran of the manufacturing industry, with experience running various divisions of Char-Broil, LLC, in Atlanta, including establishing supply chains and operations in China.  Kent has also had direct responsibility for Product Management, Product Development, and Corporate Strategy. She was most recently Director of the Project Management Organization (PMO) for Char-Broil, where she developed the organization from inception to a team of over 75 global members.

Lori received her Bachelor of Science from Columbus State University and her MBA from Auburn University. She has also earned certifications in Six Sigma (Black Belt), Project Management (PMP), and Executive Leadership from the University of North Carolina.

Lori and her husband, Lewis, have three children and will remain in the Atlanta metro area.
