YORKTOWN,Va., April 1, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- The Victory Family YMCA and Victory Church have teamed up to host the Peninsula's largest Helicopter Egg Drop. The event will take place on Palm Sunday, April 14th, from 12:30-2:00pm on Victory Church's 18-acre campus, located on the York-Poquoson line.
"Our community needs spaces for families to be families," shares Jamé Bolds, Lead Pastor at Victory Church. "We are honored and excited to join the Victory Family YMCA in fulfilling that family mission. This event is a great opportunity to come together and create an Easter family-based event." Plus, Pastor Jennifer and I are in the YMCA many days a week!"
The event will be held from 12:30-2:00pm on Victory Church's field at 410 E Yorktown Road. Families are invited to participate in and enjoy activities such as face painting, bounce houses, and games. Food Trucks will also be on site for families to purchase lunch during the event. The Egg Drop will take place at 1:00pm. Due to limited parking, participants are invited to park at the Poquoson City Hall parking lot (500 City Hall Ave, Poquoson, VA) starting at noon to take a shuttle to Victory Church.
