The annual event (StpPatrickMarch.com) is produced by Code 3 America, Inc., a 501c3 non-profit organization, which has built it into a popular hometown extravaganza, said TransMedia CEO Tom Madden, whose grandfather was born in Dublin.
The event celebrates both historical Irish American immigration and First Responders (Police, Firefighter, EMS) who traditionally lead the parade along Atlantic Avenue bustling with green. This year's 50th theme will include many things from that 1968 year.
