Thanks to the collection and repair efforts of Jerry Kraynick and his shop, local families will receive a bike for their child in addition to other Christmas Assistance that The Salvation Army is able to provide to them.  Bike donations will be accepted at Kraynick's Bike Shop @ 5003 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA during the month of November.  These will then be distributed at our Worship and Service Centers throughout Allegheny County in advance of Christmas.

Over 2,000 of our neediest neighbors will be served a first-rate holiday dinner with all the trimmings.  Participating hosts are:  The Omni William Penn, The Sheraton Station Square and the University of Pittsburgh (12:00-noon thru 2:00 pm).  More than 300 volunteers assist in serving.  Limited opportunities are still available.  This is the 27th year of this program.
