More than 100 kettles are placed at various sites throughout Allegheny County Monday through Saturday. Check The Salvation Army's website for exact locations and how to give online at wpa.salvationarmy.org. Additional volunteers and kettle sites are always needed.

November 1-30 - Bikes for Kids with Kraynick's Bike Shop
Thanks to the collection and repair efforts, local families will receive a bike for their child in addition to other Christmas Assistance that The Salvation Army is able to provide to them. Bike donations will be accepted at Kraynick's Bike Shop @ 5003 Penn Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA during the month of November. These will then be distributed at our Worship and Service Centers throughout Allegheny County in advance of Christmas.

Tune in to WTAE-TV Channel 4 for a day and evening of special appearances from Project Bundle-Up's biggest fans. Phone in and support the 17 hour phone-a-thon to raise funds to purchase new winter outerwear for needy kids and seniors throughout The Salvation Army's 28-county Western Pennsylvania Division. Local families will receive a complete holiday, courtesy of Highmark employees. Toys will be gathered together at Highmark's 5th Avenue Place location. The items are then taken to The Salvation Army's Warehouse @ 820 Parish Street, Green Tree.

December 2 & 3 – PPG Annual Toy Drive Pickup
For more than 30 years, PPG employees have helped to support more than 2,600 children annually. Toys will be picked up from the below PPG locations and transported to The Salvation Army's Green Tree Warehouse, located @ 820 Parish Street.

December 5 thru December 9 from 9:00 am thru 8:00 pm – Treasures for Children Allegheny County Collection, Sorting and Delivery Week.
Volunteers sort, pack and arrange for more than 35,000 toys to be delivered throughout Allegheny County. The Greater Pittsburgh Women's Auxiliary, the Marine Safety Unit of Pittsburgh, Boy Scout Troop #143, and a variety of other volunteer groups and individual volunteers from the area will provide support during this week. Sorting and collection will take place at The Salvation Army's Warehouse, located @ 820 Parish Street, Green Tree.

December 6 at 1:00 pm – Bob's Discount Furniture & Pittsburgh Steelers Surprise Giveaway Event
Four families with a total of 18 children will be transported via limo bus to the Bob's Furniture Store where the red carpet will literally be rolled out for them. Children will be greeted by Stealy McBeam and a current Pittsburgh Steeler Player and will be provided with beds from Bob's and gifts from The Steelers. In addition to the four families attending this event, another 6 families will also receive beds for the children and gifts from The Steelers to be delivered to them before Christmas. December 7-9 – iHeart Media Celebrity Bell Ringers / Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign
At the Giant Eagle Market District located in Settler's Ridge, on-air talent from local iHeart Media stations including WDVE, KISS FM, Big Country, The X and 3WS will serve as celebrity bell ringers for the Red Kettle Christmas Campaign during the morning rush, over the lunch hours and during the afternoon rush. Celebrities on board to date include 'DVE's Val Porter, Bill Crawford and Sean McDowell, Johnny Hartwell from 3WS and "Mikey" from the "Mikey and Big Bob" show on KISS FM. iHeart Radio will also host an Online Red Kettle to collect funds for The Salvation Army.
