FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., June 24, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- The Social Media Pros, a digital marketing agency known for its specialization in the home services industry, has been acquired by Medalist Holdings Group, marking the first acquisition under the company's operating arm, Gray Street, LLC.

Founded in 2019 by Sean Houchins, The Social Media Pros (SMPs) has grown to serve clients nationwide. The agency helps small and medium-sized businesses boost online visibility through website design, search engine optimization, pay-per-click ads, and Google Business Profile management. When Houchins decided to move on to new business ventures, he sought a qualified, driven individual or group to take over and build on SMPs's strong foundation.

New owner Derek Detenber brings over two decades of executive experience, including leadership roles with Batteries Plus, Wendy's, and Massage Envy. He launched Medalist Holdings Group in 2024 to support founder-led businesses with strategic marketing and operational resources.
