BOSTON, Nov. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sports Club/LA and Reebok Sports Club/NY, premier health clubs committed to helping members achieve their fitness goals, today announce an exclusive partnership with Aspen/Snowmass, a premier ski resort operating four mountains in the Aspen/Snowmass area of CO.  The unique partnership launched in the fall 2011, and will continue through 2012.

Aspen/Snowmass and The Sports Club/LA with Reebok Sports Club/NY share a commitment to providing their members and guests with an extensive range of amenities and programs, as well as access to highly experienced fitness and sports professionals, all located at state-of-the-art venues.  As part of the partnership, both parties collaborated to create a new signature class, Aspen Ascent, which launched in late-September 2011 at the six health clubs including The Sports Club/LA in Boston, Miami, New York, San Francisco, and Washington DC, as well as Reebok Sports Club/NY.  Aspen Ascent was designed to prepare participants for skiing and snowboarding by enhancing cardiovascular capacity while improving balance, agility, and core strength.  The class is divided into three twenty minute segments focusing on agility and speed, strength and balance, and core and flexibility training, all three crucial for navigating the ski slope.

Additional components of the partnership include:

• Creation of health and fitness, and ski/snowboard content to showcase across multiple mediums,
• Exclusive invitation to Members of Reebok Sports Club/NY and The Sports Club/LA to experience Aspen/Snowmass at a preferred rate,
