The Spring Festival Gala of Chifeng People Held in Inner Mongolia

Launched by former China Central Television reporter Fu Qiang and other Chifeng people, the gala was organized through crowdfunding actors who performed without fee. Being held in Beijing, the first two sessions had the famous performing artist Siqin Gaowa and other Chifeng stars on the stage, achieving great success.

Chifeng is located in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region of China. It has a historical record of 8,000 years of human activity. Once the largest city in the world, this land covers a beautiful area of about 90,000 square kilometers with rich natural resources. About 5 million people - both Mongolians and other ethnic groups - enjoy their lives here and live in harmony.

This year, the third staging of "Chifeng People All Over the World" received a video of good wishes from Chifeng people around the five continents and the works of the top ten calligraphers in Chifeng (Bai Xufeng, Chen Lizhi, Gu Jingyun, Su Tao, Wei Jinguo, Wu Feng, Wu Yincheng, Yang Shaohui, Zhang Min, Zhang Shuchang). In addition, the "Swan Goose Talents Project" provided great publicity and mobilized global Chifeng people to return home for investment and entrepreneurship. A charity event aimed at poverty alleviation was also held at the scene. Bao Xishun, who at 2.36 meters is the world's tallest man, and a number of Chifeng national champions also attended the event. Equipped with a powerful lineup, numerous stars and brilliant shows, the Spring Festival Gala could be described as a magnificent and luxurious audio-visual feast. Millions of viewers also appreciated the live show on their mobile phones.

The Spring Festival Gala included artists trained by the international super star Jackie Chan's performance group, Cheng Jia Ban. A dragon dance martial arts performance of "Come on! Chifeng People" officially kicked off the show. The perfect integration of dance, martial arts and wonderful kung fu won warm applause from the audience.

The Gala consisted of 28 exciting programs like songs, dances, spring renditions, magic, a horse head performance, poetry recitation, a Mongolian costume show, and intangible cultural heritage full of Mongolian ethnic features and unique local cultural elements. The audience witnessed the true charm of this gala.

The "Chifeng People All Over the World" 2018 Spring Festival Gala also involved a group of well-known artists who came from outside of Chifeng to express their deep love for hometown folks and dedication to this grand activity.

In short, the Gala featuring positive content, beautiful melodies, touching feelings and wonderful performances has inspired thousands of Chifeng people around the world in their effort to create and achieve brilliant dreams.

Next year, the event may go to the United States to hold the fourth session of the "Chifeng People All Over the World" Spring Festival Gala. The event is much anticipated.
