Puerto Rico's first ultra-luxury resort opens its doors following a ground up renovation

Following an extensive $60 million renovation, the property unveils a new dimension of tropical luxury and a contemporary aesthetic seen in every guestroom and suite, Casa Grande, the heart of the resort where guests will enjoy The St. Regis Bar and Paros, the seaside pool and esplanade, and the Iridium Spa.

Designed by celebrated Puerto Rican designer Nono Maldonado together with internationally renowned Hirsch Bedner Associates of San Francisco, and inspired by the surrounding sea, sand and foliage, the 139 refurbished rooms and suites boast a light, modern and organic aesthetic in a contemporary and residential setting. A tranquil color palette of shades of whites and light blues will beautifully complement ocean and lush tropical garden views, while custom furniture pieces such as a glass bar cabinet evokes an inviting and luxurious home. The renovation is also inclusive of Casa Grande, which welcomes guests upon arrival and is home to Paros, the resort's signature fine-dining restaurant, and the St. Regis Bar. Anchored by The Long Awaited Voyage, a mural by Puerto Rican artist Arnaldo Roche Rabell that has been restored following the storms hangs above The St. Regis Bar. The two-story building is a warm, lively and glamorous gathering space that overlooks the ocean and invites guests to simply relax or experience the brand's champagne sabering ritual.
The St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort offers a range of distinct culinary outlets for guests to enjoy. Paros, the resort's signature fine dining restaurant, offers refined contemporary Greek cuisine in a stylish and relaxed setting that is reminiscent of an elegant Mediterranean village. The menu features authentic mezze and the freshest raw or grilled seafood, highlighting vibrant Greek and Mediterranean flavors, served alongside a selection of fine wines and expertly crafted cocktails.
