Many of these life goals could be molded by how and when a woman's family unfolds.

The Timeline Project™ provides an interactive tool for young women to identify their goals and develop a personalized Timeline to help achieve them.  Through the delivery of custom content, women who create Timelines will also receive relevant articles to help them actualize those goals, from education and career, to personal exploration and family planning, including information about the range of available birth control options to discuss with their doctor. These articles are aimed at providing women with the necessary information to help them make personal choices that allow them to follow their own unique path.

Participants start their own Timeline by first selecting from a number of life categories such as "Work and Education," "Civic Engagement," "Health," and "Family and Relationships" which correspond to life goals that may include "Going to College," "Becoming a Volunteer," "Climbing a Mountain" or "Getting Married." The next step is to set an age for achieving each goal. Participants are then offered a variety of resources and ideas to help them fuel their goals and stay on track.

Built within this highly interactive tool is also a social networking community, designed to reach Millennial women where they are most active and likely to engage. Participants can also visit The Timeline Project™ Channel on YouTube to access videos and information about the community. Participants can post their aspirations on Facebook, so that their visions can be shared with their friends.
