ATLANTA, Oct. 18, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- The Titan Agency, an Atlanta-based full service advertising and marketing agency with offices in Miami, was recently chosen from a field of 482 metro Atlanta businesses for recognition as one of Atlanta's "Best Places to Work" by The Atlanta Business Chronicle in their 7th annual "Best Places to Work" program. The selection marks a first for the 10-year-old agency.
Titan was among 60 organizations recognized in the "small" business category, which is classified as companies with a workforce of 10-to-100 employees. Additional categories included "medium" for workforces of 101-to-500 employees and "large" for companies with over 500 employees. Other winning organizations included Keller Williams, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Accenture and InterContinental Hotels Group.
The awards ceremony was held on September 16 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis and was sponsored by Robert Half®, Emory Goizueta Business School and Quantum Workplace. Southwest Airlines Chairman, President & CEO, Gary Kelly provided the keynote address.

Starting in June through their website, The Atlanta Business Chronicle solicited nominations from organizations with workforces based in the metro Atlanta area. Organizations that made the initial cut were provided surveys from a third party research vendor Quantum Workforce – a workplace analytics and business performance consulting firm.
Workers from each nominated organization were then surveyed using set criteria that calculated a points-based score. The top 60 "small", 30 "medium" and 10 "large" businesses with the highest tabulated scores ultimately comprised the 2011 rankings. All data and scores were generated from responses of the organization's employees without influence from management.
