The Venetian Sets New Web Standard with Ektron-Powered Site

NASHUA, N.H., May 16, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Ektron, a provider of web content management, social software and marketing optimization solutions,  today announced that The Venetian Resort-Hotel-Casino in Las Vegas, one of the world's most luxurious resort and convention destinations, has leveraged the Ektron Web Content Management platform for its newly relaunched  website, venetian.com.

The site refresh was implemented by Vana Technologies, a leading full-service software development and systems integration firm. Ektron's best practices team worked with Vana and the Las Vegas Sands eCommerce team to build a solid infrastructure to host the Ektron installation.

The Venetian site is the first of four planned website migrations during 2011 by The Venetian's parent company, the Las Vegas Sands Corp., which will include marinabaysands.com, palazzo.com and lasvegassands.com.
