The Wanted To Release New Single "We Own the Night," Prelude To New Album, WORD OF MOUTH, Arriving September 17th On Island Records!

NEW YORK, July 23, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Red-hot British pop-vocal sensation The Wanted follow up last weekend's season finale of their E! network summer TV series The Wanted Life, with news of a brand new single release, "We Own the Night."  The global radio premiere date is set for August 5^th, and the single will be available commercially August 12^th on iTunes, coinciding with the video premiere.  "We Own the Night" is the first US lead single from WORD OF MOUTH, The Wanted's eagerly anticipated debut full-length album, set to arrive September 17^th on Island Records.

A perfect summer pop anthem, with killer dance beats, a reggae twist, and a catchy chorus that's impossible to resist, "We Own the Night" was written and produced by the Messengers, Nasri and Adam (credits: David Guetta, Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Jason Derulo), and was mixed by Serban Ghenea (Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake).

The Wanted – Tom Parker, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Jay McGuiness, and Nathan Sykes – will take over the Outdoor Stage of ABC's Jimmy Kimmel Live! on August 14^th (two nights after their new single release) for a 5-song mini-concert that will feature two of the songs from WORD OF MOUTH, including "We Own the Night."  The Wanted are also set for their August 23^rd appearance on ABC Good Morning America's summer concert series from Rumsey Playfield in New York's Central Park.

At this year's Teen Choice Awards, LIVE on August 11^th on FOX, The Wanted have been nominated in two categories: Choice Male Reality Stars and Choice Music Group.  Earlier this year, The Wanted won 2013's People's Choice Award as Favorite Breakout Artist.

Anticipation was high for the June 2^nd cable television premiere of The Wanted Life on NBC Universal's E! network, which presented an unvarnished look at life behind the scenes with The Wanted, as they settled together in the Hollywood Hills to begin recording their new album in Los Angeles.  The Wanted Life was produced by Ryan Seacrest Productions, SB Productions and Global Television.
