The Watershed Rewards Recipient of $1,000 Addiction Recovery Scholarship for January 2019

DELRAY BEACH, Fla., Nov. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- The Watershed Addiction Treatment Programs has just revealed and rewarded the winner of the first $1,000 Addiction Recovery Scholarship for the January 2019 school semester. The Addiction Recovery Scholarship is for individuals who have been in recovery from drug addiction and/or alcoholism for at least two years and who have already completed one full year of school at an accredited college and/or university.

The winner of the educational scholarship is currently in his junior year at Texas Tech University for Chemistry Engineering and he is also preparing for Pre-Med. A total of $1,000 will be credited toward his tuition for the January 2019 semester.

The purpose of The Watershed's Addiction Recovery Scholarship is to help and support recovering addicts and/or alcoholics who wish to further advance their education. The Watershed understands how difficult it can be to navigate life after struggling with an addiction to drugs and alcohol, which is exactly why this scholarship is so special.

The Addiction Recovery Scholarship allows addicts and/or alcoholics to be rewarded for their hard work, dedication, and commitment to both their recovery and future.
