DUBLIN, Ohio, Feb. 23, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- The Wendy's Company (NASDAQ: WEN) announced today that its Board of Directors has authorized a 29 percent increase in the quarterly cash dividend rate from $0.07 cents to $0.09 cents per share. The increase will be effective with the next quarterly dividend payment, which is payable on March 15, 2021, to shareholders of record as of March 5, 2021. The approximate number of common shares outstanding as of February 19, 2021 was 223.9 million.
