CHICAGO, June 23, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Axialent, a global consulting firm that helps organizations move beyond profit, welcomes Raphael Louis Vitón as Global Transformation Lead.
Viton joins Axialent (www.axialent.com) after many years of partnering together on large scale, multi-year, engagements on strategy, leadership and culture of innovation challenges while he was the owner and president of a specialty consulting firm in Chicago.
Axialent Partner, head of North America, Pamela Mattsson says "Mr. Viton brings a platform of innovation leadership and culture of innovation experience with him that our most senior level clients are hungry for."
"The world needs more Jedi," Viton said about the new role at Axialent. "We need more men and women working from higher levels of consciousness - especially those that are responsible for implementing innovation strategies and those pursuing a new master plan of any kind. Conscious leaders make better innovation leaders. They consistently deliver better results to the organization – it is as straightforward as that - for the sake of better business outcomes. The current leadership complexity gap clearly suggests that innovation leadership and transformation is a learned capability – a muscle group that has to be developed/trained for the gap to be closed."
Viton continued: "In my experience, Axialent's services help leaders of organizations see more + work better + feel stronger… becoming more agile in the face of uncertainty and fear. 'Getting in the reps' of deliberate practice is what helps leaders more quickly and more effectively get to the complex problem solving. Axialent is the only global consulting firm, of its kind, specializing in these fundamentals of conscious business. Their practical approach helps leaders respond more resourcefully under stress and upgrade their operating systems with the intent of shifting to a culture with higher standards of performance, relationships and purpose. I've been watching, first hand, the evidence of this at many global companies. Similarly, I've been a big fan of all that LinkedIn CEO, Mr. Jeff Weiner, has accomplished by hiring one of the founders of Axialent (author of Conscious Business) in 2013 as LinkedIn's head of leadership and organizational development."
Viton added, "I have learned so much from Axialent over the years, about increasing performance under increased stress, which only comes from the deep work of individual and collective transformation. I'm excited to be training inside the Axialent dojo."
Axialent CEO, Francisco Cherny stated, "Raphael's expat experience will be useful as he will be working with the geographic regions of the firm, North America, South America, Europe and APAC, helping us fulfill our corporate mission."
Viton's international work includes being a professor for the Master's program in Business Innovation at the CEDIM design school in Monterrey, Mexico City, MX, where he currently teaches curriculum on "New Paradigms in Business" and "Innovation Leadership" to corporate executives and entrepreneurs.
Raphael co-authored the book Free the Idea Monkey…to focus on what matters most! (2012). In 2014, the book was introduced to the Ph.D./D.B.A. Program in Values-Driven Leadership and Organizational Change for senior executives at the Center for Values-Driven Leadership at Benedictine University. He was a Bloomberg BusinessWeek columnist for many years and has created/taught post graduate programs in innovation leadership, integral leadership and new paradigms in business for executives worldwide. He has also served as a board member for Conscious Capitalism, Inc.
Viton lives in Naperville, Ill., with his wife and two children. He holds a B.A. in business from Benedictine University and an MBA from Loyola University Chicago Quinlan School of Business.
