Forgotten Word traces the life of Zena McGrath, a detective with an international police force, who is investigating the death of an Irish priest at the Vatican. Vatican officials insist the priests' deaths are the result of natural causes, but that claim is turned on its head when Zena joins forces with Cardinal Donatello. A mysterious character, Cardinal Donatello discloses a telling fact: all of the deceased clergy members were involved in exorcisms. It's an admission that ultimately plunges Zena into an unfamiliar world, where the forces of good and evil jockey for control.
