ThermoEnergy Partners with Envirogen Ireland Ltd to Target Growing Aircraft Deicing Fluids Recovery Market in Europe

WORCESTER, Mass., Nov. 10, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ThermoEnergy Corporation (OTCBB:TMEN), a leading supplier of wastewater recovery technology and systems, announced that the company has teamed with Envirogen Ireland Ltd to aggressively pursue European Markets for the recovery and recycling of Aircraft Deicing Fluids (ADF) from storm water. ThermoEnergy ADF Recovery Systems can be used to recover and concentrate propylene glycol from Aircraft Deicing Fluids (ADF) sprayed on planes in winter weather. The system has a payback period of less than two years.

Envirogen and ThermoEnergy are pursuing more than 100 potential opportunities where glycol management programs are being created at airports to reduce the effects of biochemical oxygen demand (BOD) in Europe's waterways.
