WORCESTER, Mass., May 25, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- ThermoEnergy Corporation (OTCBB: TMEN), a leading supplier of wastewater recovery technology and systems, today announced the Company's first step in a new ThermoEnergy marketing initiative to sell its sustainable wastewater recovery technologies into this large new pollution abatement market driven by the Chinese government's five-year plan. The first initiative into the expansive China pollution market will be an exhibition at the 12th China International Environmental Protection Exhibition & Conference (CIEPEC) in Beijing on June 7-10, 2011.
"From 2010 to 2015, China is expected to invest 3,100 billion RMB (US $475 billion) in pollution prevention and treatment," said ThermoEnergy CEO, Cary Bullock.
