HOUSTON, April 20, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Think Energy, the competitive retail electricity provider specifically launched by GDF SUEZ Energy Resources to serve small business customers, announced that it will be a sponsor of Walk with Me Houston, an event organized by Easter Seals as part of its national fundraising campaign to raise awareness and resources for children and adults with disabilities. The event will be held at 8 a.m. on April 21 at the Houston Zoo.
As part of Think Energy's launch into the Texas market, the company is encouraging Houstonians to support Easter Seals' efforts by participating in the event's 5K run or Family Fun Walk. Following the walk, a celebration will be held with live music, children's activities and food, and all participants will have the opportunity to stay and enjoy the Houston Zoo after the event has concluded.
Deena Morgan, Vice President of Think Energy, said the company is proud to continue the GDF SUEZ Energy Resources tradition of supporting programs that benefit children's health initiatives.
"As an organization, we continuously seek ways to connect with our customers while playing an active role in supporting organizations whose mission is to tackle issues affecting our community," said Morgan. "Sponsoring Walk with Me Houston is one way we can achieve that and demonstrate to our customers that we are committed to the community and becoming the preferred power provider for small businesses in Texas. We are pleased to participate in this important opportunity and look forward to joining Houstonians in supporting individuals and families living with disabilities."
