Think Finance to also be featured at Dedicated Conference Booth
ADDISON, Texas, Feb. 28, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Think Finance, Inc., a leading provider of software technology, risk analytics, and marketing services to lenders, today announced Think Finance Vice President of Business Development Tom Carter has been chosen as a speaker for the LendIt USA 2017 conference.
LendIt USA 2017, taking place March 6-7 in New York City, is the world's largest show in lending and fintech. The conference will feature over 5,000 attendees from more than 2,400 companies, and 150 sessions exploring topics including consumer lending, blockchain, digital banking, bank partnerships, online lending and more. Carter's remarks at the conference will take place during a session entitled "Using Service Providers to Improve Technology Efficiency," at 2:40pm local time on March 6.
"With more than 15 years of experience in providing technology and services to help lenders decision, originate and manage consumer loan portfolios, Think Finance has proven itself to be a leader in fintech innovation," said Carter. "Think Finance has learned much through its work providing technology that has processed millions of consumer loan transactions. Our CortexSM platform provides a solid case study in how branch based, emerging online and other lenders can partner with a service provider like Think Finance to improve their technology efficiency, quickly get to market and successfully scale an online lending business – and I am eager to share those kinds of insights at LendIt."
Carter is an accomplished senior leader and innovator in the financial services industry, with nearly 20 years of experience in building and growing successful businesses. At Think Finance, he is responsible for establishing new relationships with partners seeking to launch or improve an online lending product. Previously, Carter held key business development positions with Prosper and Vyze, both successful fintech companies. Prior to that, he held various leadership roles for 10 years at Dell Financial Services, a leading captive finance company. He was also a management consultant at KPMG Peat Marwick.
Think Finance will also be featured at a dedicated booth inside the main exhibition hall at the conference. Think Finance CEO Martin Wong and other members of the Think Finance executive team will be in attendance and available to answer questions throughout the two day event.
"Online lending is continuing to grow in popularity among an increasingly digital- and mobile-focused consumer population, and every day companies are coming up with new and interesting ways to innovate in that market," said Wong. "Think Finance has been a leader in creating the technology that drives online lending, helping our clients originate millions of loans since our founding in 2001. We are excited to participate in LendIt to promote the technology and services offered as part of CortexSM, and to hear from and meet with other companies interested in entering the online lending market."
CortexSM is a highly configurable, end-to-end technology platform to facilitate online lending that includes customer website integration, a digital application, an intelligent decision engine, electronic documentation, origination, servicing and collections. The CortexSM platform and Think Finance's professional services enables online lenders to launch or enhance an online lending portfolio with an increased speed-to-market and accelerated return on investment – empowering them with a complete online solution for consumer installment and revolving loans.
