ThinkHR Bolsters Executive Team With Mark Coyle As Chief Technology Officer
Silicon Valley veteran to focus on ThinkHR's strategic vision around building the world's leading HR knowledge-based solutions
PLEASANTON, Calif., Jan. 20, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- ThinkHR, the leading provider of expert HR-related knowledge and learning solutions, today announced that it has hired Mark Coyle as the company's chief technology officer. A veteran of some of Silicon Valley's best known companies, Coyle will focus on building a far-reaching vision for ThinkHR's product roadmap and customer-driven technologies.

Coyle has more than 20 years of engineering and software development and management experience and holds five patents. He joins ThinkHR from Oracle, where he oversaw the engineering and operations for the Oracle Sales Cloud. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president overseeing SaaS product development at Appirio, the Salesforce.com consultancy. Coyle began his career at Seibel Systems, which was acquired by Oracle in 2005.

Coyle holds a Ph.D. in computer science from the University of Minnesota and a M.B.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science from the University of Minnesota.
