The research from M&S Bank shows that seven in ten popular foreign holiday destinations are less expensive this October half term than they were a year ago.
Adults are now paying an average of £30 less and this is largely down to a favourable exchange rate.
The study found that Greece is the most affordable destination costing an average of £662 per adult for one week, saving a massive £59 per person on last year's prices.
