Thomas J. Henry Gives Commencement Address at St. Mary's School of Law Graduation Ceremony

SAN ANTONIO, May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Thomas J. Henry, founder of Thomas J. Henry Injury Attorneys, provided the Commencement Address for St. Mary's University School of Law's Eighty-Second Commencement ceremony at the Bill Greehey Arena on Saturday, May 14.

During his speech Thomas J. Henry briefly reflected on his own time at St. Mary's before providing graduates insight on what challenges and obstacles they may face as they begin their legal careers. Mr. Henry touched on the importance of learning from the fear that comes with being a new attorney and overcoming that fear through preparation and practice. Mr. Henry also urged St. Mary's graduates to look beyond themselves when they practice law, stating that caring for your clients and community is the most important building block in the legal profession. He asked that those who find success never forget to stand up for the little guy and to always be willing to give back through charitable work and donations whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Finally, Thomas J. Henry reminded the graduates to never forget to maintain a healthy work to life balance, commenting on how important his own family is to him and the happiness his family brings him.
