Three Hicks Thomas Partners Named to Lawdragon's 500 Leading Lawyers in Environmental Law

John B. Thomas, Eric Grant and John Deis recognized as top environmental litigators

Mr. Grant's experience includes four years as the federal government's top appellate lawyer for energy and environmental litigation. As a Deputy Assistant Attorney General in the Environment and Natural Resources Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, he supervised the Appellate Section and the Indian Resources Section, along with the Environmental Defense Section, which defends rules issued by the EPA and other federal agencies under the pollution control statutes. Mr. Deis is a skilled litigator known for his ability to handle complex environmental, construction, oil and gas, and commercial litigation.
