Three New Artist Showcase Stations Launch on Slacker Radio

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 28, 2011  /PRNewswire/ -- Slacker, Inc. today launched three new Artist Showcase stations featuring songs hand-selected by bands and musical artists RJD2, The Parlotones and Blue October along with exclusive host commentary by the artists themselves. Slacker's Artist Showcase stations are hosted and curated by the artists. DJ, producer and singer RJD2 was raised in Columbus, Ohio, where he got his start as a DJ and member of the Columbus rap group MHz. He later began a solo project and has recently gained attention for his score "The Beautiful Mine," the theme song of AMC's Mad Men. His Slacker station, RJD2 Radio, features bands and artists including David Bowie, Kanye West, Otis Reading and Grizzly Bear.
