Three TrueWealth Advisors Named 2014 Five Star Wealth Managers for the Second Year in a Row

Principals Amy Merrill and Roger Ward, as well as Wealth Advisor Jennifer Acuff, were recognized with the 2014 distinction for the second year in a row.

With more than 25 years in the accounting and financial planning industry, Ward has responsibilities that include simplifying the complications that come with managing wealth for his clients. He specializes in complex personal financial planning, retirement planning and liquidity event planning. He has been a member of the TrueWealth team for 16 years.
Acuff has more than 10 years of wealth management experience. Since joining TrueWealth in 2006, she has been focused on applying her professional insights and attention to detail to develop high-level planning strategies for her clients. Her areas of expertise include High Net Worth Individuals & Families, Widow(er)s/Divorcees, and Charitable Planning Strategies.
In order to consider a broad population of high-quality wealth managers, award candidates were identified by one of three sources: firm nomination, peer nomination or pre-qualification based on industry standing. In addition, nominees were evaluated against 10 objective eligibility and evaluation criteria: Credentialed as an investment advisory representative (IAR) or a registered investment advisor; actively employed as a credentialed professional in the financial services industry for a minimum of five years; favorable regulatory and complaint history review; fulfilled their firm review based on internal firm standards; accepting new clients; one-year client retention rate; five-year client retention rate; non-institutionalized discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; number of client households served; and educational and professional designations.
