Threshold Enterprises Hires Tom Grillea as COO
Natural Products Industry Change-Maker Grillea brings 30-year record of success driving growth and innovation to premier nutritional supplement distributor and manufacturer
SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif., May 3, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Threshold Enterprises, Ltd., a premier distributor of nutritional supplements and the manufacturer of the brands Source Naturals® and Planetary® Herbals today announced the hiring of Tom Grillea to the position of Chief Operating Officer.
Prior to joining Threshold Enterprises, Mr. Grillea served as a C-Level Officer and Divisional President for United Natural Foods Inc., overseeing multiple areas of the company including Select Nutrition, a distributor of nutritional supplements, whose sales grew dramatically during his 9 year tenure. While at UNFI, Mr. Grillea was also responsible for the following divisions: Blue Marble Brands, Earth Origins Market, Woodstock Farm Manufacturing and Honest Green ecommerce. Prior to his tenure at UNFI, he held positions with Whole Foods Market's Northeast and North Atlantic regions in the capacity of Director of Whole Body where he oversaw huge sales growth. Mr. Grillea also previously served in senior management for the Vitamin Shoppe where he was responsible for the retail division and oversaw its growth from its New York metro roots to a nationwide retail chain.
