Thrive Market and Jillian Michaels Partner With Blue Star Families For Workout and Health Event on the USS Midway

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 20, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- On Saturday, workout guru Jillian Michaels joined Thrive Market and hundreds of active military service members and their families on the USS Midway aircraft carrier for a workout and a conversation about the importance of healthy eating. The event was held in partnership with Blue Star Families (BSF), a nonprofit organization serving military service members and their families across the globe and Thrive Market, an e-commerce shopping club that makes healthy products affordable to everyone at wholesale prices. Through Thrive Market's membership matching program, every paid membership on the site sponsors a free membership for military family member or veteran, a low-income family, teacher, or student.  Thrive Market is giving away 50,000 memberships to military families and veterans in the next year as part of a larger campaign focused on the military community's health.

Many active military, military families and veterans face health issues ranging from physical injuries to mental health challenges. Eating a healthy diet is an important part of maintaining mental and physical health for those who are working hard to serve our country.
