APPLETON, Wis., Sept. 23, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Thrivent, a Fortune 500 financial services company that puts generosity at the heart of saving and investing, today celebrated the groundbreaking of its new building in Appleton, following the start of construction on Sept. 8 The new building, which will be named the Evergreen Operations Center, is the first significant building project within the broader Wilden Portfolio Park development.
The Evergreen Operations Center reflects Thrivent's continued investment in its approximately 1,400 Appleton-area employees. Designed to support a range of hybrid, remote and onsite work arrangements, the Evergreen Operations Center will provide flexible spaces for collaboration, connection and focused work.

The Evergreen Operations Center is the first major development project within Wilden Portfolio Park, the approximately 600-acre mixed-use vision surrounding Thrivent's Appleton campus. The long-term plan includes future opportunities for housing, businesses, public spaces and other community amenities. Shaped through collaboration with the City of Appleton and community input, the area is designed to benefit residents, strengthen connections and contribute to a vibrant, growing city.
On Sept. 23, Thrivent executives, the mayor of Appleton, city officials, project partners and employees gathered for the ceremonial groundbreaking, marking the official start of the project's next phase.
