AUBURN HILLS, Mich., April 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- TI Automotive, a leading global supplier of automotive fluid systems technology, has opened a new manufacturing facility in Monterrey, Mexico.
The new, 53,000 square-foot facility will produce fluid carrying systems for the new Hyundai/ Kia manufacturing facility located nearby. TI Automotive is expected to employ around 100 people at full production expected in May 2016.
The new facility is a key additional site for TI Automotive's global Fluid Carrying Systems (FCS) Division and will produce brake and fuel bundles, brake line assemblies and clutch lines with flared tubes. In addition, the facility will be equipped to produce engine line products including water, oil and vacuum tubes, transmission lines and exhaust gas reduction (EGR) pipes.

TI Automotive currently has nine production facilities in Mexico. They are located in Mexico City, Puebla, Reynosa and San Luis Potosi.
