Ticketmaster and Walmart Bring Tickets to 145 Texas Stores
LOS ANGELES, Aug. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Texas fans can purchase live event tickets from their local Walmart store. Using point of sale touch screens located in the electronics departments of 145 participating Walmart stores, fans throughout the area can browse available tickets for family shows, concerts and sporting events. Once the desired event is selected by the fan, a Walmart employee helps complete the transaction and immediately prints the tickets.

Before August 15th, Dallas and Houston area Walmart shoppers can save money with the purchase of a special 4-Pack for concerts including: Rockstar Energy Uproar Festival, Journey, Maroon 5 and Train, Santana, Blink 182 and 311 & Sublime with Rome in the Gexa Energy Pavillion in Dallas and Houston's Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion.
