Tigo Energy® Introduces New Maximizer® Solution Designed for Higher Voltage, Higher-Power Solar Modules

SILICON VALLEY, Calif., July 12, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Tigo Energy®, the market leader in DC output maximization for photovoltaic (PV) solar installations, today introduced a new Tigo Energy Module Maximizer(TM) specifically designed for recently introduced higher power solar modules.

The Tigo Energy Maximizer Solution enables owners of PV projects of any size -- residential, commercial or utility scale -- to increase power production by reducing the effects of shade, dust, clouds and uneven temperature on system performance. The new 350 Watt Module Maximizer ES75 can harvest the most energy possible from new high efficiency mono-crystalline modules such as the E19 Series from SunPower Corporation* (modules capable of producing in excess of 320W).  By using the Module Maximizer with high-output modules, system designers can achieve the value of the solution at an unprecedentedly low cost per Watt-peak.  Due to the Tigo Energy Module Maximizer's industry leading statistical efficiency of 99.5%, the ES75 can produce optimal performance without dissipating extra heat near the solar module.
