Time Warner Cable Tunes In As Presenting Sponsor of 2012 Divine Design, Benefiting Project Angel Food

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 19, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Time Warner Cable will serve as presenting sponsor of this year's Divine Design, the West Coast's premier charity shopping event, benefiting Project Angel Food.  Taking place from Nov. 29-Dec. 3, Divine Design connects shoppers to a huge selection of designer fashion, home furnishings, decor and accessories, all sold at deep discounts to raise critical funds for Project Angel Food, which provides thousands of meals and nutritional counseling each week to people throughout Los Angeles County affected by HIV/AIDS, Cancer and other life-threatening illnesses.

Reflecting this year's "Rock 'n' Roll" theme at Divine Design, the Time Warner Cable Signature Home Lounge will offer a rock-inspired setting with guitar wall fixtures, cobalt carpet, gunmetal walls and modern technology twists.  Attendees can take a break from shopping and check out TWC's suite of sophisticated technology products and services such as 3D TV, the TWC TV app, Whole House HD-DVR, Look Back/Start Over and IntelligentHome, the latest in home security.  The Lounge will feature two interactive stations bringing social and traditional media together: "15 Seconds of Fame," an interactive video experience that allows visitors to star in their favorite television shows, and "Why I Support Divine Design," which lets shoppers record testimonials that will be packaged and posted on YouTube.  Using their own wireless devices via TWC WiFi or those provided in the TWC Lounge, attendees can also blog, post or tweet, with their social media messages shown on big screens and, as desired, pushed to their own social media sites. Friday, November 30 designer Mila Hermanovski of "Project Runway" fame and noted style expert Lawrence Zarian will host an Evening of VIP Shopping & Cocktails. The Marketplace will open to the general public at 10 a.m. beginning Saturday, December 1.  The discount on Saturday will be 70% off of retail and increase each remaining day of the sale through Monday, December 3, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
