TimePlay offers U.S. advertisers for the first time ever, exciting audience engagement opportunities through alliance with Screenvision Media
TORONTO and LOS ANGELES, May 13, 2016 /PRNewswire/ - TimePlay, a world leader in the multi-player interactive industry, will join forces with Screenvision Media, a national cinema advertising leader, to offer U.S. advertisers for the first time ever, opportunities to reach and engage with moviegoers.
"TimePlay has been proven effective with audiences across North America. Our technology puts moviegoers in the driver's seat to control and impact the action on the screen through their mobile devices. Our platform enables advertisers to deliver experiences that truly engage audiences like exciting interactive games, competitions, and storytelling," claims Jon Hussman, President and CEO of TimePlay Inc.
To extend in-theatre engagement, TimePlay has formed an alliance with Screenvision Media that will enable brands to integrate into its Front & Center preshow with interactive experiences such as branching video and multi-player gaming with leaderboards and prizes. The companies will have 1,000 screens rolled out by January 2017. Says John Partilla, CEO of Screenvision Media, "When you combine fantastic content with cutting edge technology, all within a completely immersive environment, you are able to deliver something so compelling, it just can't be ignored."
TimePlay is free to play. The technology transforms a smartphone or tablet into a game controller that connects to the big screen and creates two-way interactivity. Moviegoers are able to interact in real-time with content on the big screen, compete for prizes, and receive exclusive offers from exhibitors and advertisers. "It's a completely new social entertainment experience, sparking live competition among audience members in the theater," says Hussman.
According to Hussman, "This new alliance demonstrates our shared commitment to keeping the theater-going experience fresh, exciting and cutting edge. With our technology and the reach offered by Screenvision Media, advertisers are limited only by their imaginations."
