TOKYO, March 8, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- The TimeVallee Watch Boutique will open inside Japan Duty Free Ginza on the eighth floor of Mitsukoshi Ginza Store in Tokyo on Wednesday, March 9. Based on the concept of offering multiple international luxury watch brands, it will be the first boutique of its kind in a Japanese duty-free shop.

The luxurious gold tones of the store interior form the backdrop for an array of the world's top watch brands. A hands-on area featuring the latest digital tools enables shoppers to learn more about the history, traditions, and technologies of the brands on display as they enjoy selecting their timepieces.

Japan Duty Free Ginza opened on January 27, 2016, becoming Japan's first airport-style duty-free shop in a city center outside Okinawa.

Despite its downtown location, Japan Duty Free Ginza offers all products exempt from the consumption tax, customs duties, and alcohol and tobacco duties. The store offers visitors to Japan and Japanese travelers departing overseas a new style of pre-trip shopping in a quintessentially Japanese duty-free shop where they can enjoy a pleasant and refined shopping experience not previously available.
