Tineco Gives Pets and Their Adopters a "Clean Start" with New Initiative

The smart home technology leader is helping Seattle-area shelter pets find homes and giving new pet parents practical resources for the transition home.

SEATTLE, Sept. 15, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Tineco today announced the launch of Clean Start, a new community initiative in partnership with Homeward Pet Adoption Center, Seattle Animal Shelter and PAWS (Progressive Animal Welfare Society), designed to help shelter pets find loving homes, reduce barriers to adoption and support new pet parents through the first weeks of pet ownership.

Through Tineco's Clean Start initiative, the company and its shelter partners will support adoption-focused programs across the Seattle area, ranging from weekly adoption support to a community adoption event. The program also extends beyond adoption day, with every participating adopter receiving a co-branded Clean Start Home Kit that includes a Tineco product selected to suit their new pet and household needs, along with cleaning guidance, pet accident tips and settling-in resources to help ease the transition home.

At Homeward Pet Adoption Center, Tineco will support Tineco Tuesday, a 16-week initiative that encourages weekly adoptions by helping offset adoption costs and fund post-adoption behavior and training resources through Homeward. Tineco will also work with Seattle Animal Shelter on a signature Clean Start Adoption Event, an in-shelter community event bringing prospective adopters and local families together to meet animals looking for homes. Tineco will sponsor adoption fees during the initiative.
