DETROIT, Oct. 13 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The University of Detroit Mercy Titan men's and women's basketball programs will begin their quest for a Horizon League Championship on Friday night, October 15, 2010 – the official date for all NCAA Division I basketball teams to begin full practice – and the University invites you to come out and get a glimpse of this year's teams in a fun and exciting evening of FREE entertainment. The doors open at 5:30 p.m. with women's basketball head coach Autumn Rademacher beginning the event with a preview of the 2010-11 women's team. Following the women's event, men's basketball head coach Ray McCallum will introduce and showcase his team as the men look to build upon their 20-win season with the additions of multiple newcomers including 2010 McDonald's High School All-American Ray McCallum. Fans will be entertained with performances by the Titans in Motion and Detroit Cheer team as well as live entertainment from the Detroit Titan Pep Band throughout the evening. Fans interested in purchasing season tickets are welcomed to take part in "Select Your Seat" during the event as sales staff will escort potential season ticket holders to available seating for the upcoming 2010-11 season. Also, current season ticket holders will have the opportunity to pick up their 2010-11 season tickets in the Hall of Fame lobby.
