CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 6, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Tipperary Sales, d.b.a. La-Z-Boy Home Furnishings & Décor, bolsters its executive leadership team by hiring R. Byron Brown IV as Senior Vice President of Business Development. The company also acknowledges Brown as a shareholder.

A graduate of the Wayne Calloway School of Business at Wake Forest University, Byron Brown is a licensed real estate broker in Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina, specializing in retail tenant representation, buyer representation, and land development with transaction experience totaling more than $130,000,000 in value.  For the past eighteen years, Brown represented Tipperary Sales as one of his clients in a variety of real estate transactions. As the grandson and namesake of Tipperary Sales' founder, Byron Brown brings a lifetime of family knowledge to the business.

In addition to the revenue side, Byron will also be tasked with a deep review of overall company expenditures and improving corporate efficiencies.
