Martell Foundation for Leukemia, Cancer and AIDS Research has announced its 2015 Women of Influence Awards will be held Friday, May 15, 2015 at Loews Hollywood. The event will begin at 11:00 a.m. with a mimosa reception and silent auction, with the awards presentation slated to begin at 12:30 p.m. The Women of Influence Celebration honors outstanding women whose personal and professional achievements inspire women everywhere to live their dreams while balancing work, family, home and health. The elegant and luxurious Hollywood landmark, Loews Hotel, will host this dynamic event.
The Los Angeles debut of this event comes on the heels of three successful and sell-out years in New York. The inaugural Los Angeles Women of Influence Celebration will be hosted by Sandra Fluke, California State Director for Voices of Progress, who will also be honored at the event for her achievements in policy advocacy. She will be joined by fellow honorees Jennifer Justice, EVP of Strategic Marketing & Business Development for Roc Nation; Ty Stiklorius, Co-President of Atom Factory; and Sherry Dewane, Wealth Advisor for Wells Fargo. The Foundation is delighted to announce that Dr. Sara Hurvitz, associate professor of medicine and director for the Breast Oncology Program at UCLA will be the event's guest speaker. The honorees represent a diverse and exciting group of female leaders from diverse industries like media, medicine, government and entertainment.
