TKXS To Sponsor FreeMoreWest 5K on the Greenway
Annual Race To Benefit Right Moves For Youth
CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 2, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- TKXS, a B2B company working with clients to bridge gaps between people, data and sales, has announced its sponsorship of the 7th annual FreeMoreWest 5K on the Greenway, Friday, April 5.
"This is such a natural fit for TKXS. As a business in the neighborhood, we want to be involved and support causes like this," says Winn Maddrey, senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "We're proud to support such a unique event and worthy cause."
The FreeMoreWest 5K is promoted as an evening of "running, eating and drinking in one of Charlotte's hottest up and coming neighborhoods … home not only to gorgeous historic neighborhoods, but also bustling businesses and restaurants."
"Serving Others is one of TKXS' core values," continues Maddrey. "Our team is always looking for ways to support local causes."
TKXS has a long history of supporting the Charlotte community. CEO Steve Amedio was one of the founders of All-In to Fight Cancer, which supports local cancer organizations including GoJenGo, the Paula Takacs Foundation, ChemoCars, the Isabella Santos Foundation and Novant Health Nurse Navigators program. The company is also the founding sponsor of the Red Shoe Shootout, an annual sporting clays tournament benefiting the Ronald McDonald House of Charlotte.
Proceeds from this year's FreeMoreWest 5K will benefit Right Moves For Youth, a student support program that helps teens develop skills to succeed in school and life.
