Tom Craren Joins Health Integrated Board of Directors

TAMPA, Fla., Oct. 9, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Health Integrated announced today that Tom Craren, former Managing Partner, U.S. Brand & Thought Leadership at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC), has joined the board of directors. As Health Integrated continues to reform the healthcare industry through data-enabled care management strategies, Craren will provide a wealth of experience in government affairs and public policy.

Tom Craren joined PwC in 1977 and played a pivotal role in some of the firm's biggest accomplishments. As Managing Partner of Government Affairs from 1996 to 1998, Tom testified before both houses of Congress and led the first audit and review of the U.S. House of Representatives. He received the Meritorious Service Award from the House in 1995 and the Inspector General's Award from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development in 1992. 

A member of the team that oversaw the historic merger of Price Waterhouse and Coopers & Lybrand in 1998, Tom navigated complex public policy issues and sensitive negotiations. The merger formed what is today the world's largest professional services network. 

Tom currently serves on the board of the Atlantic Council and has previously served on the board of directors of the European American Business Council, the Advisory Board of the European Institute and the governing council of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Nebraska, an MBA from George Washington University and a Master's in International Studies from Georgetown University. Tom is a Certified Public Accountant as well as a Certified Government Financial Manager.
