Tomas Freyman Joins Lincoln International's Global Valuations and Opinions Group as Managing Director to Strengthen its European Operations

LONDON, April 18, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Lincoln International, a leading global mid-market investment bank, today announces that Tomas Freyman has joined the firm's London office as a Managing Director specializing in Valuations. Tomas will be part of the firm's global Valuations and Opinions Group and will work closely with Ron Kahn, who co-heads that group and is based in Chicago. Tomas joins from BDO LLP in London where he was previously a Partner in the Valuations practice.

Tomas brings extensive valuations experience across a wide variety of industries but particular expertise in the Energy, Infrastructure and Technology sectors. His Energy experience includes Oil & Gas (with 3 years working in Moscow) and deep Renewable Energy insight where he has been undertaking portfolio valuations for many years. His insight on cost of capital and industry trends will help enhance the growing global capability of Lincoln International. He is ideally qualified to complement Lincoln International's global Energy and Power Group.

In his previous role at BDO LLP, Tomas established the firm's valuation capability in the Renewable Energy sector. During his four-year tenure, Tomas valued over 5 gigawatts of renewable energy generating capacity for dozens of corporates and infrastructure funds investing in wind, solar and biomass. He looks forward to expanding this capability while leveraging Lincoln International's global reach and capability.  

In his earlier career, Tomas was a member of the Infrastructure Advisory team at Ernst & Young LLP in London after spending 7 years in the Valuations team at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. Tomas graduated from the University of Toronto and is a CFA charterholder.
