ABOUT TOMMY EMMANUEL:
Tommy Emmanuel is one of Australia's most respected musicians. With a professional career spanning five decades, Tommy has garnered hundreds of thousands of loyal fans worldwide. His catalogue includes over twenty musical recordings of solos, duets, ensembles, cover tunes, originals, utilizing both electric and acoustic guitar. He has made six live performance DVDs, and six additional instructional DVDs.
Chet Atkins honored Tommy with the title of "Certified Guitar Player" for his contribution to guitar music, a very rare distinction shared by only five other people in the world. After an amazing performance with his brother Phil at the Sydney Olympic Games Closing Ceremony, the world wanted to know who this mysterious Australian guitar virtuoso was. In 2001, Tommy released his first solo-acoustic album, "ONLY" and his popularity has grown by leaps and bounds, aided by a non-stop touring schedule and increasing exposure in the media.
His album "The Mystery" earned him a Grammy nomination, and in 2008 Guitar Player Magazine and Acoustic Guitar Magazine named him Best Acoustic Guitarist and Gold Medalist in the Readers' Choice and Players' Choice Awards. Guitar Player's 2010 Readers Choice awards named him Best Acoustic Guitarist for the second time.

SIMO is virtuoso guitarist J.D. Simo on guitars and voacls, Justin Smith on bass, and Adam Abrashoff on drums. Rooted in the blues-rock power trios of the late '60s with an undeniable talent and swagger, the three young men of SIMO fuse the improvisational brilliance of jazz, the gritty power of rock, and the soulfulness of blues to create a transcendent live experience.
During the past three years, the band has built a name for itself on the touring circuit by performing at music festivals including Mountain Jam, Warren Haynes Christmas Jam, and Bonnaroo. Shaking off the demise of CDs, SIMO harkens back to the days when bands built followings not online, but night after night, show after show, on stage.
