NEW YORK, Sept. 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Tommy Wiseau, famed writer, director, producer and star of the midnight movie phenomenon THE ROOM is unveiling his long anticipated sitcom THE NEIGHBORS to 7 sold out screenings in NYC this weekend at The Landmark Sunshine Cinema and more have just been added. This marks the first time in over 10 years that Wiseau has written, directed, or produced anything since his 2003 sensation THE ROOM. Wiseau has been writing THE NEIGHBORS since 2005 and it is also a Novel.
Wiseau is currently the subject of the upcoming James Franco-Seth Rogen produced movie, The Disaster Artist, based on the book of the same name set for release in 2015-2016.
THE ROOM has screened to sold out showings around the globe every Friday and Saturday night for the past 11 years, and its popularity continues to grow each day! Fans dress up like characters, yell their favorite lines in unison, and even throw plastic spoons at the screen (hundreds at a time) during several moments in the film.
