SAN FRANCISCO, April 30, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Amid the agency's growth and momentum, Spark, one of the largest independent public relations agencies in the world, named Tony Telloni as General Manager (GM) of its expanding New York office. Telloni joins San Francisco GM Tim Turpin, and Silicon Valley East Bay GM Aaron Mann, in continuing the company's expansion. In his new role starting on May 5th, Telloni will oversee and support Spark's Consumer, Digital Advertising and Marketing, Financial Services and Technology practice groups. He will report to the agency's CEO Alan Soucy.
Spark has experienced rapid growth over the last 18 months with a reported 44% increase in 2014 revenue growth, and increased its talent pool with 11 new people hired in Q1 2015. Its growth is being acknowledged as a finalist for the Holmes Report's "Small Agency of the Year" Award.

Telloni brings more than 20 years industry experience in New York and joins Spark from some of the industry's largest agencies. As the Managing Director of Golin's New York office, Telloni was responsible for driving growth, managing major account relationships, day-to-day business operations and new business development. Telloni provided corporate communications and brand reputation counsel to a number of diverse clients across the consumer brand and financial services sector.
Prior to Golin, Telloni spent nearly seven years as a Managing Director and Market Leader for Burson-Marsteller's New York office. While at Burson, he also served as President of Proof Integrated Communications, which is the company's integrated marketing services offering.
Previously, Telloni spent four years at Edelman New York as a Senior Vice President and Deputy General Manager for the Consumer Brands group.
