World ID for Zoom is now available in the Zoom Marketplace to help enterprises increase trust and combat deepfakes in video communications by providing tools to verify real human presence
SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 20, 2026 /PRNewswire/ -- Leading into Zoomtopia, Tools for Humanity (TFH), the technology company building tools for humans in the age of AI, announced it has joined the Zoom ISV Exchange Program.
Participation in the program unlocks access to World ID for Zoom, which is now available in the Zoom Marketplace, to Zoom business customers who want a way to help verify that meeting participants are real humans, not deepfakes. Through the program, Zoom customers can purchase World ID for Zoom for their businesses and request Orbs, the hardware used for one-time Proof of Human verification, be placed at their offices.
As AI becomes more sophisticated and business interactions continue to shift online, organizations need better ways to confirm there is a real person on the other side of an interaction, and that the person is indeed who they claim to be. Deloitte estimates AI-enabled fraud losses in the U.S. could grow from $12.3 billion in 2023 to $40 billion by 2027. The Zoom ISV Exchange Program enables Zoom to offer select independent software vendor (ISV) solutions directly to customers through its platform. In the case of TFH and Zoom, the program makes human verification tools accessible to enterprises who are seeking an added layer of trust in live, business-critical conversations.
"Proof of Human is no longer a nice-to-have. It is becoming an essential layer of trust infrastructure as AI reshapes how people communicate and interact online," said Ajay Patel, Head of World ID and Chief Revenue Officer at TFH. "Joining the Zoom ISV Exchange Program means enterprises can bring that layer of trust directly into the workflows where it matters most."
Designed for enterprise use cases, the World ID for Zoom integration utilizes World's Proof of Human technology and Zoom's Realtime Media Streams (RTMS) to help confirm that the person you're speaking with is a real human, not a deepfake. The other person can demonstrate that they are not a deepfake in a few steps using face authentication, shifting from detection to real-time proof of presence.
The integration delivers a hardware-backed root of trust through a three-way match: the cryptographically signed image taken when the participant originally verified at an Orb, a real-time selfie taken on the participant's device, and the live video frame that other participants see on screen. When all three match, the result is confirmation from World ID that the person on the call is the real, verified human who is expected, and a Human Badge is displayed on the participant's video tile.
"Trust is fundamental to how people connect and do business, and protecting that trust requires continued innovation," said Brendan Ittelson, chief ecosystem officer at Zoom. "Our ISV Exchange Program gives customers easier access to innovative solutions that address emerging challenges. By bringing World ID for Zoom to our customers, we're expanding the tools organizations can use to verify human presence and build confidence in their most important conversations."
This announcement reflects World ID's growing role across consumer, enterprise, and agentic platforms. In April, TFH announced new partnerships and integrations with Zoom, Docusign, Okta, Vercel, and Tinder and new tools for AI agents. The updates underscore World ID's evolution into enterprise-ready infrastructure for the AI era. The World ID for Zoom integration, which runs on AWS, was previewed at "Lift Off" with global investment manager VanEck Funds announcing its participation in the limited beta program.
