Top Long Island Chefs Join Forces to Fight Childhood Hunger
The Chefs' Table For No Kid Hungry, a culinary event at Swallow Restaurant, Feb. 27th
HUNTINGTON, N.Y., Feb. 2, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Long Island's top chefs are joining forces to fight childhood hunger at The Chefs' Table for No Kid Hungry, a multi-course dinner to be held at Swallow Restaurant in Huntington Village on Monday, February 27th. Guests will enjoy a signature course from each chef, as well as cocktails and select wine pairings.
Proceeds from this special culinary collaboration will support NO KID HUNGRY, a campaign that works to ensure that every child in the United States has access to healthy food where they live, learn and play. Some of the chefs joining Swallow's Executive Chef James are:

- Kent Monkan (Wild Goose)
- Stephan Bogardus (North Fork Table & Inn)

13 million kids in America - one in five - struggle with hunger. On Long Island, nearly 284,000 people receive emergency food every year - that's 65,000 people each week. More than one third of these are children under 18. Share Our Strength's No Kid Hungry campaign is ending childhood hunger in this nation by connecting kids in need with nutritious food and teaching families how to cook healthy, affordable meals.
